Edwin Dillon completed his medical degree at Stellenbosch University in 1997. After completing his internship and community service he worked as a medical officer at Conradie Hospital and GF Jooste Hospital for 19 months before commencing his registrar training in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery at Tygerberg Hospital. In 2006 he completed his MMed in Orthopaedic Surgery (cum laude) and the FC ORTHO (SA) examination.
He then joined Dr PJ Erasmus in private practice at the Stellenbosch Medi-Clinic. In 2011 he moved into solo practice at Stellenbosch Medi-Clinic and is providing a general orthopaedic service with a special interest in knee surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine. Edwin is still actively involved in research and has authored and co-authored several research papers. He has also presented various papers at national and international meetings.
