The Joint Venture Trust is a unique entity. It represents a partnership with medical practitioners in private practice and corporate sponsors to provide a significant medical service to carefully selected deserving beneficiaries.

The team is led by Dr Edwin Dillon. He is an orthopaedic surgeon in full-time private practice at the Stellenbosch Medi-Clinic. He has always wanted to make a meaningful contribution to the care of those less fortunate and it is through the Joint Venture Trust that he has seen this dream fulfilled.

He is joined in this endeavour by the trustees who share this vision and by volunteers and service providers who are glad to make a meaningful contribution to our society.

The team do  all the work pro bono. This means that the full sponsorship will be applied to the care of the beneficiaries. We have invested a great deal of time into developing the entity as an attractive destination for funding.

This trust is a fully functional NGO and has its own set of books and accounting system. The Joint Venture is audited by LDP , which is a well-known and long-established practice of public accountants and auditors in South Africa.

Quarterly reports on all the procedures performed are distributed in the form of a newsletter.
